It appears as though Bauer may be showcasing their upcoming Bauer Supreme Total One MX3 gloves on their own website. In fact, it actually appears on the page of the MX3 stick.
According to a tip we received via email (hat tip to Doug), the Bauer Total One MX3 gloves are being worn by James Van Riemsdyk in this promo shot which we’ve shared below. The gloves carry a different design than their predecessor, the NXG gloves. Check out the picture below:
We’ve also recently received another tip, courtesy of Lane Sim, with the full specifications of the Bauer Total One MX3 gloves.
The new Total One MX3 gloves will feature an anatomical fit, similar to that of the Supreme gloves which have come before it. The anatomical fit allows the gloves to close to the hand, but also comfortable and natural feeling. They will feature a 3-piece index finger, as well as a 3-piece flex lock thumb.
Bauer will be bringing their Quattro+ Palm powered by AX Suede to the Total One MX3 gloves. These palms were first featured on the Vapor APX2 gloves, and are now coming over to the Supreme line. The Quattro+ Palm is a blend of three different fibers which provide an extremely soft and abrasion resistant palm. It also features enhanced moisture management to help keep your hands dry, while also making the palm less likely to break down and crack over time. The Quattro+ Palm will be available in multiple team colors, such as dark grey, orange, red, blue, and gold.
In terms of protection the Bauer Supreme Total One MX3 gloves will feature Flexorb and Poron XRD foam. We all know that Poron XRD foam is great for absorbing impacts, but this hybrid will combine protection with comfort, allowing the gloves to be mobile and responsive on your hands, all the while protecting them from any sticks, pucks or other objects they might get hit by.
Inside the MX3 gloves, Bauer will be using their patented 37.5 technology as the liner. This is going to go great lengths towards keeping your hands dry throughout play, allowing you to keep your focus on the game, and not on wet and sweaty hands.
