While you were sleeping this morning, Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby took the ice for the first time since suffering a concussion back in January. He practiced with the Penguins at 7:30 a.m. during the teams morning skate prior to facing the New York Rangers. For those who are Pens fans, don’t read too much into it. While it was nice to see him move on the ice and have the same stick handling skills as before he was injured, it could still be a while before he will see game action.
Stay tuned to see if his health progresses and when he could potentially see game action. The Pens have a 12-8-4 record with both him and Evgeni Malkin out of the lineup.
