Young 21 year-old goalie Anders Nilsson played in his second NHL career start and achieved his first NHL win. On top of that, Nilsson stopped all 24 shots from the New Jersey Devils for a shutout; Nilsson became the first rookie goalie to record a shutout for his first career win.
