The favorites all regained series leads last night in another good night of hockey. The Boston Bruins edged the Washington Capitals in a 4-3 final. The New York Rangers barely got by 1-0 over the Ottawa Senators. And finally, the St. Louis Blues controlled the majority of the game, winning 4-3 against the San Jose Sharks.
In other news, Brendan Shanahan has a few meetings today with players, mainly the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a widely believed blown suspension to Shea Weber, where Shanahan admitted that a result of injury plays a role into the suspension instead of the act in itself, many believe he needs to regain control of NHL discipline. A James Neal suspension will be the focal point of his success.
