If you could cut your hair to look like any hockey player, who would it be?
One New York Rangers fan chose Henrik Lundqvist, the team’s reliable netminder.
The Rangers posted a Twitter photo yesterday showcasing the back of the fan’s head with an image of Lundqvist—based on a photo from the team’s 2011-12 calendar—sculpted into his hair.
The artwork haircut was done by the aptly named Joe Barber, a barber based out of San Antonio. This isn’t the first time that Barber has put the face of a Ranger’s player on a fan’s head. Earlier this post-season, another Barber masterpiece made the rounds on the ‘Net after he put Kris Krieder’s face onto the back of a loyal Rangers supporter’s head.
Hopefully the head-shaving will bring the Rangers some much-needed luck. They are currently trailing the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 in their best of seven series.
Check out the image of the haircut below. Personally, I’d like to give Barber a challenge and have him put Phil Kessel on the back of my head.
