The series offers in-depth access and never-before-seen-footage of players, coaches and staff as both teams prepare to meet on New Year’s Day at the NHL Winter Classic. The premiere episode follows the Penguins as they ride an amazing 12-game winning streak while the Capitals try to figure out how to break out of their current losing streak and get back to their winning ways. Besides the triumphs and tribulations of both teams, viewers are afforded the chance to see players in their homes, at practice and in the locker rooms between periods.
