We here at Hockey World Blog, with the support of Dekree and Blue Ice Hockey, have put together a NHL Playoff Bracket Challenge. The challenge, predict the outcome of the NHL playoffs, round by round. With 58 participants, including HWB writers’, two winners have been selected: Mitch V. (17 points), Matthew D. (16 points). Mitch V. rode the Los Angeles Kings to the Stanley Cup Finals, the only one out of all 58 participants. His foresight landed him first place.
The participants’ picks and statistics can be found here
First place was given the choice of a Dekree DC300 composite hockey stick or the Blue Ice NP-Tek one-piece hockey stick as their prize. Mitch V., hailing from Ottawa, Ontario has selected the Dekree DC300. The decision leaves a Blue Ice NP-Tek going to Matthew D. out of Bronxville, New York.
HWB is happy to of had a successful participation count as well as providing two readers with top-of-the-line hockey sticks. Thanks are in order for our sponsors, Dekree and Blue Ice Hockey. Having the ability to review both of the sticks won, we are certain the winners will be more than happy. Thanks again to everyone who has participated. We look forward to next season in hopes of providing another opportunity to for our readership to win some hockey swag.
