On January 27, 2013, the Washington Capitals finally got their first win of the season. New Head Coach Adam Oates is probably thankful to get the monkey off his back, as well is Captain Alexander Ovechkin who finally netted his first goal of the season. Their 3 – 2 win over the Buffalo Sabres is a far cry from being the team to beat now, but at least it is a start for the Capitals.
