Nazem Kadri has serious skill and knows how to dangle, that’s for sure. Tonight, Kadri proved it against the Montreal Canadians.
On a play that looked like it wouldn’t amount to anything, with Kadri coming up the left wing, he made a slick move sliding the puck between Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin’s legs to cut to the inside. From there, he sent a pass across the crease to Cody Franson who buried the puck in the back of the net.
For Kadri, it was his 17th assist on the season. Later in the game, he also picked up his 18th assist on a Mason Raymond goal. Kadri has 11 goals on the season to go along with his assists, giving him 29 points so far on the year.
