Philadelphia Flyers standouts Claude Giroux and Wayne Simmonds took their talents to the basketball court yesterday as they joined the World All-Stars to take on the Harlem Globetrotters.
During the game itself, Simmonds and Giroux settled for only about 2 minutes worth of playing time. However, during that time, Simmonds found himself on a fast break and went in for a solid dunk.
It was during a break in the action that Giroux and Simmonds really got to shine. Giroux was given his stick, and managed to use it to toss an alley-oop to his Flyers teammate. It took a couple tries to get it, but when they connected, it was awesome.
We’ve got the whole clip for you below, check it out. You’ll also find some behind the scenes video of the two Flyers players practicing their alley-oop prior to the game. From what it looks like, the play behind the scenes was a bit more impressive than the ones in front of the fans.
Check out the couple clips below and drop us a note in the comments! Did you have any idea these guys could pull of moves like that on the court?
