Six weeks ago we brought you the announcement from the Coyotes that they are going the way of the football team and ditching the Phoenix name in favor of Arizona. And while the club has yet to officially introduce a new logo and word-mark, a recently-debuted season ticket renewal website might give us some insight in the direction they are going on.
We shouldn’t buy into it 100 percent, it could be a quick Photoshop job done by a graphic designer in-house to instill the Arizona name while an official logo and word-mark is being figured out. What we do know is that the uniform will stay the same, with the difference is that the shoulder patch will change from PHX to AZ under the state of Arizona.
