If you have been following the NHL Playoffs at all, which I’m sure you have, you might be interested in participating in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Hat Trick Challenge presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Not familiar with the Hat Trick Challenge? Well, the game is basically to predict what will happen during a particular playoff game. There will be three new questions featured each day, and your goal is to accumulate the most “Hat Tricks.” You can score a hat trick by correctly answering all three questions in a day. Below is a series of example questions:

  • Will the Flyers win the game?
  • Will the Canucks score three or more goals?
  • Will Ryan Miller make 30 or more saves?

At the end of the competition, a Enterprise and the NHL will award a grand prize to the entry which has scored the most Hat Tricks.

The grand prize winner will certainly be in for something special as well. The winner of the Hat Trick Challenge will receive a two-night getaway for two to Columbus for the 2015 NHL All-Star game. Included will be round trip airfare, 3 days/2 nights of hotel accommodations, two tickets to the 2015 NHL All-Star Skills Competition, two tickets to the 2015 NHL All-Star Game, ground transportation to and from the hotel and $500 of spending money.

Hockey World Blog will be creating our own league which you can join. This will allow you to compete against other Hockey World Blog readers and to see who can drop the most Hat Tricks throughout the next couple of weeks.

  1. Be consistent with answers,shoot outs haven’t counted toward out come why now. If last night’s question was if a certain player scored a goal and scored in the shootout it wouldnt have counted

  2. When I sign in and review previous dates it shows my answers as correct and locked in but I don’t get credit for any hat tricks .. I have all 3 correct answers on at least 10 different dates but my score only shows 1
