Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban has quickly emerged as one of the league’s premier defenseman, and he has certainly set the bar high for his younger brothers Malcolm and Jordan.
But they seem up for the challenge.
Malcolm Subban, the middle of the three brothers, just recently completed his first pro season as a goaltender for the Boston Bruins organization. Meanwhile, Jordan, the youngest and a Vancouver Canucks draft pick, currently plays defense for the Belleville Bulls in the Ontario Hockey League.
But the two younger Subban boys recent squared off against one another during a shootout at BioSteel Camp, and Jordan certainly got the best of Malcolm in this contest.
Jordan grabs the puck at center ice and flips it to a teammate in the corner. He then proceeds to do three full turns while skating toward the net. Meanwhile, his teammate his flipped the puck into the air toward Jordan, who stops turning, spots the puck and knocks it out of mid air right past his brother and into the net.
Malcolm didn’t stand a chance.
