Max Domi scores incredible highlight-reel goal

London Knights forward Max Domi continues to illustrate why he is one of the most promising up-and-coming players.

His 2014-15 season already includes a gold medal win with team Canada at the World Junior Championship, where he was named the tournament’s best forward, and he currently sits ninth in the entire OHL in points with 64 points in 34 games. But Domi put his vision and creativity on full display last night by scoring an absolutely incredible highlight-reel goal during a matchup against the Sarnia Sting.

With five minutes remaining in the second period, the London Knights found themselves killing off a Sting power play when a Knights player gathered a loose puck in the defensive zone and lofted it toward center ice. Domi, who appears to have gotten behind the Sting’s defense on a line change, picked up the loose puck and proceeded to flip it over Sarnia’s goaltender—who had come out to play the puck—and then taps it into the net out of mid-air.

This goal is absolutely one you have to see to believe. Check it out below.
