Our first three stars list for the 2018-19 season features three familiar faces. They are all-stars in the league, but with a new season upon us they must all be using newer gear. Without further ado, here are the NHL Three Stars and what they are using.

Gabriel Landeskog had a tremendous week of action, one that saw him put up a solid six goals and an assist for a total of seven points. His six goals included a hat trick against the New Jersey Devils last Thursday.

Landeskog starts his setup off with a Bauer Re-Akt helmet up top. Moving down to the hands, he wears Warrior Alpha QX gloves, and scores his goals with a Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick. His pants are Warrior Covert QR Edge and on his feet are the custom Bauer Nexus 2N V Cut skates which feature X-Rib pattern commonly found on Vapor skates. For extra protection on his feet, Landeskog also uses shot blockers over his skates.

Connor McDavid continues to put up points at an elite level, and last week tallied two goals and four assists to claim second star. Fun fact, McDavid also became the first player in NHL history to record a point on the Oilers first nine goals of the season.

Despite a new season, McDavid can still be found using some older CCM equipment that he likes. Up top is a CCM helmet while on his hands are CCM pro style gloves. He dishes and dekes with a CCM Super Tacks stick, and is wearing the older CCM RBZ skates. McDavid also uses CCM pants.

Marc-Andre Fleury earned third star honors by posting a 2-0-0 record along with a 1.00 goals against average and .956 save percentage.

Fleury definitely has one of the nicest setups in the league, and joins McDavid in using CCM gear. His goalie pads are the CCM Premier II goal pads, and he also uses the CCM Premier II catch glove and blocker. In addition to that, Fleury uses a CCM Pro goalie stick, CCM Premier goalie pants, a CCM Pro cat eye goalie mask, and CCM Super Tacks AS1 goalie skates.
