The New York Rangers are currently sitting 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. While no one expected them to be this low in the standings this year, they probably will not end up that low. They have a game in hand on 7th place (New York Islanders, 47 points) and only two points off from 6th seed (Ottawa Senators, 48 points). The Rangers have gone 6-3-1 n their last ten games played, which is much better than the Senators’ 5-5-0. Prediction: 7th seed.
