Sometimes what you want and what the outcome is are two completely different things. Hopefully though, the Columbus Blue Jackets add to their three game winning streak to a playoff seed. They are only two points out of 8th seed, but also give up a game to most of their opponents. They have a tough four-games on the road against the California teams as well as the Dallas Stars, and eventually end on home-ice against the Nashville Predators. They need to forget their 6-11-2 road game record for now and play a game at a time. Who would of thought Columbus could be this close after trading Rick Nash away? Prediction: 8th seed.
