The 2013 NHL trade deadline passed this last week with a few big named players moving. Known players that moved were Jason Pominville to the Minnesota Wild; Marian Gaborik to the ColumbusBlue Jackets; Wade Redden to the Boston Bruins; Matthew Lombardi to the Anaheim Ducks; Martin Erat to the Washington Capitals; Steve Sullivan to the New Jersey Devils; Raffi Torres to the San Jose Sharks; Cory Conacher to the Ottawa Senators; Ben Bishop to the Tampa Bay Lightning; Jussi Jokinen to the Pittsburgh Penguins; Ryane Clowe to the New York Rangers; Jaromir Jagr to the Boston Bruins; and Derek Roy to the Vancouver Canucks.
While some players are adapting quite well to their new teams, it is still not known how well these acquisitions will help each team to make the playoffs, do well in the playoffs, or potentially build for a better next season.
