NHL Draft: 10 late-round steals with a big NHL impact

Sergei Federov

This Russian sniper was a key component of three Stanley Cup championship wins with the Detroit Red Wings in the late 90s and early 2000s. When all was said and done, Federov finished his NHL career with 1,179 points in 1,248 career games with the Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets and Washington Capitals. Not bad for a guy selected in the fourth round of the 1989 draft.
