Nicklas Lidstrom
Often considered one of the greatest defenseman to ever play the game, Nicklas Lidstrom played 20 seasons in the NHL—all of which with the Detroit Red Wings. He was a 12-time NHL All Star, a seven-time Norris Trophy winner as the league’s best defenseman, and a four-time Stanley Cup champion. Hard to believe Lidstrom dropped to the third round before he was selected by the Red Wings 53rd overall in 1989.
