NHL Draft: 10 late-round steals with a big NHL impact

Jonathan Quick

At 29-years-old, this young goaltender already has several professional accolades on his resume, including two Stanley Cup championships with the Los Angeles Kings, and maintains a position as one of the game’s best current netminders. During LA’s 2012 Stanley Cup run, Quick was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the playoffs. Four goalies were actually selected before Quick was taken in the third round of the 2005 draft by Los Angeles, and none of them have played a game in the NHL.
